Welcome to My Sober Kitchen
where healing, joy, and good food come together.
Hi, I’m Kimberley—mom of two, Gen Xer, native New Yorker turned Pacific Northwest gal (Go Seahawks!), and proud #sobernotboring woman. I’m obsessed with real food, love dancing in my kitchen, and I adore my hangover-free life. I created My Sober Kitchen to help other women feel as good as I do—without the overwhelm. This space is for real people with real lives: jobs, kids, housework, Netflix… I see you.
Let food be thy medicine
When I gave up alcohol, I wanted my energy, glow, and confidence back—but sugar cravings, mood swings, and sleepless nights had other plans. I knew food could be powerful, but every time I searched for answers, I was overwhelmed by dense research or boring advice that didn’t fit my busy life.
So I rolled up my sleeves and figured it out myself.
I became a passionate student of nutrition, cooking, detox, yoga, herbology, and the mind-body connection. I took classes, worked with award-winning chefs, went to nutrition school, and studied healing modalities that changed my life from the inside out.
Today, I’m an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, certified through the world-renowned Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN)—a school that’s trained over 100,000 coaches in more than 170 countries.
At IIN, I studied cutting-edge nutrition, holistic healing, and coaching with world leaders like Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. Mark Hyman, Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, and Gabby Bernstein.
IIN’s philosophy of bio-individuality—that no one diet fits all—deeply resonates with me. I help women reconnect to their body’s natural wisdom, make sustainable changes, and nourish themselves in ways that feel joyful, intuitive, and empowering.
The dots finally connected and I learned how to truly nourish my body, mind, and soul – with the right food, cooking at home and a healthy lifestyle.
Everything changed for me when I learned how to truly nourish my body, mind, and soul. My sleep improved, my cravings vanished, my mood balanced, and my confidence soared. My “muffin top” melted away, I looked years younger, and I felt like myself again—only better.
That’s the magic of healing with food, movement, and intentional living.
