Ever feel overwhelmed by all the diet advice out there? Keto, vegan, paleo, gluten-free, dairy-free, sugar-free… it’s a lot. Everyone seems to have an opinion (or a product to sell). So who should you listen to?
How about… you?
Yep. Your body has all the wisdom you need to create your perfect way of eating — no fads required.
Start with Curiosity (Not Rules)
Instead of asking what to eat, start asking:
“How do I feel after I eat this?”
That’s it. No food police, no shame. Just simple observation.
Here’s how to start:
💛 Keep a food + feelings journal
Write down what you ate and how you felt physically and emotionally after. Just a quick note is enough!
Example:
- 🥐 Croissant + latte: felt cozy, then jittery. Craved more sugar an hour later.
- 🥕 Carrots + hummus: energized, satisfied.
- 🍰 Chocolate cake: yum! Then bloated + grumpy.
- 💧 Big glass of water: clear-headed + refreshed.
Patterns will start to pop up. And you’ll start noticing what foods fuel you—and what drag you down.
Make a Feel-Good List
Once you’ve gathered a few days (or weeks) of insights:
- ✨ List the foods that make you feel energized, light, and happy.
- 🐢 List the foods that leave you tired, irritable, or bloated.
Then start leaning into the good stuff. Bit by bit. No crash diets, no “all or nothing.”
This is a gentle experiment, not a punishment. Want the cake? Have the cake! But notice: Would a few bites satisfy your craving without the sugar crash? Could you pair it with tea instead of soda? What feels good to you?
Trust Your Inner Chef
Your perfect diet won’t come from a book, a trend, or a wellness influencer. It will come from paying loving attention to your own body. It’s your kitchen, your rules.
✨ The more you feed your body what it actually loves, the more clearly it speaks to you.
✨ The more you listen, the more confident, vibrant, and energized you’ll feel.
✨ And yes, you can totally feel good most of the time. (Really!)
Loving Reminder
This isn’t about perfection. It’s about connection — with your body, your choices, and your joy.
So… do you have time to feel lousy all the time?
Or would you rather feel amazing by simply tuning in to you?
You’ve got this. And I’m cheering for you every step of the way. 💛
XO, Kimberley
